At Above the Smile, our mission is deeply personal. Founded by Ciera Garrell this nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting mental well-being! But the story behind our name goes beyond words.

Ciera Garrell created Above the Smile in honor of their beloved son, who tragically lost his life to suicide. In the midst of grief, Ciera Garrell found a renewed sense of purpose: to help others navigate their own struggles and find hope beyond their pain.

Above the Smile is about offering a lifeline to those in need, reminding them that they are not alone on their journey. Through our initiatives, we aim to uplift spirits, ignite minds, and foster a community of support and love.
